Traditional cleaning processes meant that water towers and drinking-water reservoirs had to be emptied and manually cleaned or divers sent down. In both options, the reservoir has to be taken offline which can lead to major disruption to public water supply.

With our underwater cleaning robot, we can clean the drinking-water reservoir while the reservoir remains in service. The robot is remote controlled and equipped with rotating brushes and a pupm that directly pumps out the sediment from the base of the reservoir.
